But the rhythms fit, go figure. Never cared for the rap part of Rapture, but this was a very clever mash-up.

As long as you have access to the original multi-track recordings you can pretty much do anything you want with a song.

Adjust the pitch and time (phrasing) of the vocal to match the music (or the other way around) and there you go.

As for the rap part of Rapture ... that was the whole point of the title of the song: RAP-ture. Be pure!

Wow, it's an actual legal mashup. This was created by Go Home Productions, by the way. Also see the oldish thread Bastard Pop, but many of the links may have died by now.
