Print Ads from the 30s to 60s
I had these emailed to me, and found them a fascinating reminder of the cultural and health changes that we have made through the ages...

Either nothing at all was advertised for 30 years, or the pictures don't show up.
|
Those are some pretty crazy advertisements. The jarred tapeworms one really caught me off guard.
|
Yeah, the jar of tapeworms is off the wall.
|
prophylaxis, helps you get the job done with few regrets

Maybe Firefox for Mac behaves better?
Those are wild! Douching with Lysol? |
|
LOL!
I love old ads, even the ones that aren't as comical as these. My office has a ton of old National Geographic dating back to the 1930s. I just like to flip through and look at the old ads. I like those better than the hangy flappy bewbies! ;) |
I love the "Blow in her face and she'll follow you forever!".
|
Tapeworms in a jar!!!!!
Jarring. |

The tapeworms are gross...but douching with Lysol? WTF????
|
I want me some tape worms and sausages for dinner!
|
mmmmm, sausage.
As a guy that thinks about product liability all day long, this is one of the most horrifying things I think I've seen in a while. |
These are extremely awesome. I love the first one...the easy way to open a can...HA!
