Hamas Bunny, Assud, Vows to Liberate Al-Aqsa and "Eat" Jews
Hamas Bunny, Assud, Replaces His "Martyred" Brother Nahoul the Bee and Vows to Liberate Al-Aqsa and "Eat" Jews.
from Al-Aqsa TV Hamas-Palestinian Authority (February 9, 2008) |
Children's entertainment...terrorist indoctrination.... Hamas says tomato, we say tom-ah-to....
Well, what's new? |
What's new? This bubble busted.
Funny thing, we humans. |
My 3 year old son walked in while I was watching this.
'Its a bunny, hes so cute!' Fucking sick bastards, but remember this is all Israels fault, just ask our friends on the left, and this can be fixed with simple negotiations. I'd even be willing to bet that TV station was in part funded by EU money. |
I like how he's wearing the big key around his neck like a fluffy terrorist version of Flava Flav.

What I do know is the left blames the one democracy in the area and gives asswipes like this a pass or try to act like there is some sort of moral relativism between Israel and Hamas. Fuck that, these people are evil. They are teaching children that their goal in life is to die killing filthy jews and using a guy in a bunny suit to do so. Its so fucked up its unbelievable but lets keep pretending that we can somehow work out a solution with people willing to do this kind of thing. Maybe you can shake hands with them. |

I thought the left blamed the United States.... :orly:
|
You'll have to forgive Ustwo, he has a hard time keeping track of who the left is blaming today, guess he didn't get his talking points from the neo-cons this week and got confused, I shudder to think what would happen if he had an original thought.
I'm just waiting for him to bring up Universal Health Care now that Canadians are in this thread, that's his usual argument, or that we're Socialists, that's another Ustwo gem. |

Not me, I'm 100% socialist.... of course I'm not a Democrat.
Speaking of the Hamas Bunny... I think it might be a joke. In the US, we have a comedian who does a routine with a "terrorist" suicide bomber puppet that an Arab or Persian may find completely offensive, but it's not indoctrinating us. It's making some of us laugh, and others change the channel. Of course Arab Ustwo is fucking pissed. He thinks we're fucking sick bastards. Then he blames a Sunni conspiracy in the US for the propaganda puppet on Comedy Central. |

This is a bit off track, I know, but is in response to "the left blames Israel," which I think is off the mark. I'm pretty sure the only finger pointing the NDP has done in regards to the Middle East is directed at Prime Minster Harper. If you look at "leftist" theorists and critics, most of them will likely indicate the United States as one of the prime targets of "blame" for things going bad (or staying bad or getting worse) in the Middle East. EDIT: I should talk about the bunny. Yes, this is a bad thing. Of course it is. There are far worse things people have done with children out of desperation. There are other things we could be focusing on. To believe that Hamas or other Palestinian groups do nothing to indoctrinate their children is to be naive. What good does it do for them, us, or Israel to watch this video and simply say how crazy and fucked up and evil these people are? Of course they're crazy; look at the lives they live. |
There was actually a similar show on Palestinian TV up until about a year and a half ago, which featured a guy in a rip-off Mickey Mouse suit spouting the same kind of indoctrinating, kill-the-Jews crap. When one of my best friends was in college, about five or six years ago, the foreign minister of the PA came to his college to lecture, and, when confronted about why they permitted this television show to air, calmly asked,
"Don't you have educational TV in this country? Your public television would never cancel 'Sesame Street.' This is the same thing." I am a little surprised to hear myself saying it, but ustwo is really kinda right about this. Terrorists = Bad. Pretty much what it comes down to. And I have to say, I've been in Israel for half a year now, and I watch their television. I have never seen any kind of kids' show that advocates violence in any way, much less giving kids a designated target and encouragement to be suicide bombers. As far as I can see, although the Palestinian problem is widely discussed in everyday Israeli society, most people shun extremist answers. I wish I could say the same for the folks on the other side of the fence. |

This is some Palestinian graffiti. It illustrates the desperation in a really amazing way. |

I may not agree with him in the matter of the Palestinians, but I can't deny he's awfully talented, and quite clever. |
I should have been more clear. By Palestinian I meant it was on the Palestinian side of the illegal wall, not that the artist was Palestinian. I apologize for being misleading.
My point, though, was to try and illustrate the dire situation many Palestinians find themselves in. I in no way condone the guerilla attacks on Israel or Israelis, of course, but I cannot say that I find their situation tolerable. They're in trouble and both Israel and Palestine find themselves trying to occupy the same land. Something reasonable has to be done as this shows no signs of changing. What about a parliament that has Israeli and Palestinian representatives? What about allowing the Palestinians to completely rule their sovereign land... free of walls or bulldozers? |
