It's actually a bit frightening. Whoever brainwashed the man did an excellent job. In the clip in post #3, he spent over 8 edited minutes talking about nothing.

That's great.

How is Tom Cruise being crazy news?

The clips are pretty funny, though. How could they possibly expect anyone to take them seriously with that announcer, I'll never know.

I'm really fascinated by the actions of members of Anonymous. Their campaign kicked off a few days ago already includes attacks on several of Scientology's websites, prank calls, organized protests, distribution of pamphlets, and extracting secret files from Scientology and RTC. Why? Human rights violations, fraud, and misuse of copyright laws among other things.

Water's wet, the sun is warm and yes Tom Cruise is a lunatic.

I wonder if the L. Ron Hubbard scam or the insanity came first. Probably a photo finish.

I find it odd how Scientology gets such bad press on the whole alien extraterrestrial connection while the LDS (Mormons) folks seem to get a pass.

I watched the parody below and they put in the MI theme song too. I thought it was just for more tie in, I can't believe that they did it in the actual video.

Even with tax exempt status, Scientology can't shake the cult image because its opponents do so much to fight it. At least the Mormons don't torture members who violate church doctrine. Plus, they have enough bad press from the polygamy scandals.

When I look and listen to this video,
I see a man with a lot of fear in his eyes,
and I hear a voice that doesn't really believe in what he is saying,
something is definitely wrong...

I'd consider shunning a form of torture. Esp. when they order family members to either close off complete contact or be thrown out of the church.

Hey the good news is you can be saved, your soul will live in salvation with our lord. Bad news is you can no longer have any contact with your brother, he's been asked to leave the church.

My friend had this notion today, and I laughed out loud: what if Tom Cruise was working from the inside to take the CoS down?
