I have to say I laughed heartily within the first 12 seconds because I somehow unknowningly, yet accurately, channeled the thought this film would take the perspective of "Hal-9000".

I find the description of the trailer is best to visually-conceptualize the rationale and impact this film is making:
Quote:
After winning the Grand Jury Award at the prestigious CineVegas Film Festival, and its official selections for the Chicago International Film festival, and the AFI LA Film Fest, LOOK will open to the public in New York City's top art cinema houses, the Angelika Film Center and Lincoln Plaza Center.

The buzz around LOOK has been exploding and eager audiences will now be able to share the experience that has everyone in the Indie world talking.

More Than a Film...An Awakening. They are everywhere. On the streets. In lobbies. At the shopping center. Even in bathrooms. The ever watchful electronic eye stands vigilant, protecting us from those who would do harm.

There are so many security cameras we have become dulled to their presence. The cameras themselves capture minute after minute, hour after hour of video which is digitally archived, perhaps forever.

There is no question that this technology has assisted in the apprehension of nasty characters ranging from hooligans to terrorists. But what else is caught by these countless lenses and who is watching.

That is the question probed in brilliant dramatic fashion by writer/director Adam Rifkin in the soon-to-be released feature film: LOOK.

LOOK...who is watching?
