That was a really long time for the jackass to be standing there pouring gas on the ground. No one tried to stop him till it's too late. What about the emergency shut off button? Where was moron running the gas station? And those people that left at the very beginning without doing anything are just as dumb.

The gas station attendant turned off the pump, You can see the crazy dude trying to get it working again. I'm guessing disgruntled employee too. There's just too many yellow coats in that movie.
