Useless products
One of my coworkers is trying to find a home for the Product Liaiblity for this product (along with a few others).
http://www.tatermitts.com/ I see lots of equally useless products pretty regularly. I think I'll post some of them here. Stay tuned.

Alright - here are a couple of Useless Products I found:
http://www.homemadesimple.com/sites/...sh_brush.shtml What is this little device and what does it have to offer? Basically, it's a dishwashing brush with batteries. Yup, that's pretty much it. Keep in mind that you still have to hold this brush, it's just that it... vibrates... for you. Now, I can show a little tolerance towards stupid products that are made to satiate the truly lazy, but good Lord, if you have enough motivation to stand at the sink and wash dishes, are you really going to save much energy or effort by letting the brush vibrate instead of doing a little bit of scrubbing on your own? And is it really going to do a better job? How does the fact that it moves on its own help it clean corners better than a human could? I highly doubt this is worth the $8 it costs plus the four AA batteries required to power it. http://www.metropawlispetboutique.com/strollers.html I don't have much of a comment on this one other than - Why take your dog for a walk if you are going to push him in a stroller? http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthread.php?t=120654 Sorry secret - I think your thread belongs here: http://www.peeandpoo.com/eng/flasheng.asp

I want some tater mitts! I remember some long days sitting in my grandmothers kitchen peeling potatoes for her. ok so maybe i did it for an hour once or twice a year.. but still i wasted alot because i left half the potato on the peel. If those things actually work, they're awesome.

Useless is in the eye of the beholder.
I wish I had this account on my desk, but I found it at another website. http://www.cleanishappy.com/ I'm sure one of you will rise up in defense of this one too.

The Washlet isn't that useless. It's perfect for lazy people like me!
Then again, I guess there is something wrong with you when you're too lazy to wipe your own ass.

My infirmed grandma had one of those actually, except it was a pink/salmon color. I always thought it was a medical device or a product for the elderly.
Useless IS indeed in the eye of the beholder. This item was certainly useful for my grandma during her last years on earth. I am grateful some company had the good sense to produce a product that brought my grandma some comfort. |

If I came across the website for the folks that rent the motorized scooters ususally reserved for the elderly to the twentysomethings on the Vegas Strip, I'd include those idiots too.
