Fred Astaire was a badass.

Ain't that the truth. I've always loved to watch Astaire or Kelly dance. It's a shame such things don't draw acclaim the way they used to.

Proof they dont make em like they used to. Fred was a tap god!

couldn't find my favorite "RITZ"...Clark Gable and the girls doing it in his only singing and dancing number...???

Great find. Fred Astaire had such an amazing sense of style, which is something I greatly admire. Plus, dude could dance. If only I could dance like that, I'd have a babe like Ginger Rogers swooning over me too.

Also, credit to Gene Wilder. I didn't want to see the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory film when it came out, solely because I knew Johnny Depp could never be Gene.

My favorite Fred story: My TiVo always has a Fred Astaire movie sitting on it, just in case.
