In the interests of free speech, let them listen, let them whine, and let them try to make the changes they see fit. Isn't that what free speech is all about, letting everyone yell? The problem isn't groups trying to make change, it's the lack of balance, it's the absence of people willing to stand up for guys like Imus in public. Even if say a politician tried to say free speech extends to Imus and they stand by his right to make the comments (though not the content) it would still be nearly certain political suicide. The special interests groups aren't the problem, it's that the balancing special interests groups aren't yelling as loudly, or at least they don't get the same press coverage.

he makes some good points. Hopefully he will follow this up with an attack on his party's destruction of free speech. It ain't just the liberals, folks - for awhile there anyone who expressed any opposition to King George got maligned. Remember freedom fries? You're either with us or against us? If you don't support the war you're unpatriotic? Let's clean our own houses before we start inspecting the neighbor's.
