Has anyone seen these? Pretty weird, huh.

The last one is similar to O'Hare in Chicago where the planes cross over on an overpass.

It's like that in Gibraltar too....

the main highway from Spain crosses the runway, the small building on the road north is the border.

I just love runways. Especially when I am low on gas.

At what speed do airplanes cross those roads?

Gibraltar is the only airport I know of with the road intesecting the runway. So at that location, the planes cross the roads during takeoff acceleration or landing deceleration.

For any other airport that I've seen where a plane crosses a road, it's at taxi speed.
