Gmap Pedometer
OK... this is the coolest little device.
Using gmaps, you can calculate how far you walked. http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/

It's worth noting that you have to double-click the map in order to record points. I couldn't figure out how the hell to work it the first few times.
Double-clicking is very non-intuitive for a web browser. What else on the internet requires you to double click?

Thank you, JinnKai. I thought I was the only one having a hard time with it! But I guess they reserve the single clicks for the dragging around.
A very cool and useful tool. I plotted out a route that is fairly bike friendly to get me from home to work and back. The downside is that it is 19 miles one way. That isn't too bad really, thought I can't see doing it everyday. On second thought, if I did it everyday, I wouldn't have to do any other bike training at all! That's nearly 200 miles per week.

on mapmyrun.com and mapmyride.com you can single click, and I was able to import all my gmap routes. Thanks maleficient, I was using gmap before because mapmyride was not around, and mapmyrun was taking too long to load the maps. They are much faster now.
