Don't get me wrong, I love Kaylee and Kara, and Sharon....but Inara and Six should totally have been on that list over them! And while the movies are pretty much crap, Kate Beckinsale sure does fill out skin tight leather well in the Underworld movies.

I would be hard pressed to decide between Kaylee and Inara.

No "top" list is perfect, but it covers a good start.

I dont know if anybody remembers Erin Grey who played Col. Wilma Dearing in Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, but OMG she was so fine.....I was so In Love With Her!!!! There's nothing like your first crush on a TV actress, Its like your first time....

Willravel is right, where is T'Pol & Six??? I kinda figured 7 of 9 would be there, and Kate Beckinsale can bite me anytime at all!!!

Space should be made for Claudia Black of Farscape - well sexy.
Also I would add Alyson Hannigan from Buffy.

I think she is the reason that was one of the first HD-DVDs produced. That outfit is great.

Six should have made the list.

I forgot about Jodie Foster from Contact. That is by far the hottest sci-fi uniform, even though there is no skin showing.

I couldn't agree more, DaveMatrix!!! Not only was she beautiful, but what she did to a skintight spacesuit could bring tears to your eyes.

Wait a hold it...where's Trance Gemini (Laura Bertram), from Andromeda?

Play called on account of a clear bias against pointy eared purple chicks with prehensile tails.

When I was a kid I had a crush on Belinda Montgomery. She played the love interest on Man From Atlantis. She later played Doogie Howser's Mom:

I would also second the vote for Erin Grey.

Also, Sabrina Lloyd, who played Wade on Sliders (even moreso than Kari Wuhrer)

As for Lexx, I think the original Zev was hotter, Eva Habermann:

I was also a fan of Amy Acker of Angel:

Lets not forget the women of the original battlestar...cheesy special effects, but I didnt watch it for the effects...

Maren Jensen as Athena...

Jane Seymour as Serina...

And Laurette Spang as Cassiopeia & Anne Lockhart as Sheba...

These were the women of many boyhood fantasies....

She's a bit big for my tastes. I did consider her, though. Her role really wasn't 'sci-fi' either. She was a con artist that happened to be in space.

Is The X-Files sci-fi? Because if so, Skully deserves a nod.

A STRONG for the Erin Gray vote. Wow. I was just becoming the right age to appreciate such things when she was on TV. Formative stuff. Probably explains why I love sci-fi, come to think of it!

hey will... if you like Torri Higginson you should try to catch the anthology series called bliss on oxygen. it's a soft core show in the same vein as red shoes diary but written and directed by women for women. she is stars in one with the actor adam beach. she is his councilor at a prison. they have a hot sex scene under a table.

watching it in canada on showcase would be better because it's the uncensored version.

she's definitely hot.

My new favorite, Alexondra Lee who plays Det. Kate Benson in Special Unit 2. Technically its fantasy and not sci-fi, but who cares??? My tongue gets hard every time I see her.....

I've been scratching my head trying to come up with an excuse to mention this wonderous tv event that I only ever caught by accident. Hooray for this thread!

It would be remiss of me not to put my vote in for the Classic Doctor Who babes:

Sarah Jane - Elizabeth Sladen
Romana I - Mary Tamm
Romana II - Lalla Ward
Tegan - Janet Fielding
Peri - Nicola Bryant
Ace - Sophie Aldred

My current Sci-fi babe is Eve Myles who plays Gwen on Torchwood. She's a real goer.

As to the OT Link, Milla Javovich does nothing for me. Never has.
