That is where Spy vs. Spy comes from. It is supposed to be a representation of the Cold War.

For my part, I remember Spy vs. Spy not only from the Mad Magazines but from the Nintendo game.

I know. i was making sure of what he meant. And no, i never really saw a mad magazine before i was 18+ because my parents are french so we got the equivalent of Madmagazine from quebec. there was a bunch of them. just no spyVSspy.
