I think it's a little too early to figure out where a trade might come from. The teams that were interested before may not be willing to give up anything AND have to renegotiate that contract.
That said, the NY Jets may be a possibility. There was talk about the personnel who they were willing to trade for Champ Bailey. The 9ers will have a lot of needs and could get multiple players and a draft pick or so. Owens would fit the Jets offense very well.
However, the best comment I heard was from a local sportscaster. He suggested that the 9ers would trade Owens to the team closest to Mars.
