I'm really sorry to hear about this. Being an engineering student myself, I'm very familiar with some of the incredible pressures placed on students with such an ingredibly rigorous schedule. My first year in the program, one of the highest achieving junior students jumped off a bridge, and while I wasn't close with the girl, it was a very sad thing. Be sure to get support from everyone, I'm sure you can hang in there. Good luck, mate.
