IMO, high class ranking is not always easily achieved, and that's not to mention the pressure to keep it once you get it. One of my roommates and his poor social skills as well as his occasional bursts of hectic frustration when studying is not going as he would please is a great example of this. Honors student, 3.9x GPA. Studies almost literally 24/7
