Cancer's so prevalent in our society, I reckon you could uncover evidence to suggest that a life of non-smoking, regular exercise, healthy eating and vigorous sex leads to cancer. Shaving dogs leads to cancer. Catapulting badgers leads to cancer. It's fucking stupid.
It's science based on coincidence and probability, and that needs pointing out when these stories turn up. "May" isn't a strong enough word in this instance.
