I am just going to dive rtight in here and damn the repercussions.
All of you are going straiht to hell!
No. No. No. I am kidding. Really. I just love to do that kind of thing. It scares the shit out of people. It's in bad taste, I know, but what can I say?
No, really. I find that the most aggressive people when it comes to evangelizing are Muslims. I took a job at a major Insurance firm that was loaded with Arabs who also were Muslims. My first day there, and this Guy introduces himself and then asks me what faith I am. I told him I am a Christian. He told me that He was going to convert me to Islam. I asked him if I had a choice in the matter and he said that he knew all about my faith and he would show me what I believed was wrong and how the Koran was the only way and how I would be converted. I told him that I would be happy to listen to him and would promise to keep an open mind, but I would like to also share the Bible with him if I may. and that it would be cool if we could study the two together. Surprisingly, he agreed, but we had to do this in secret so none of his Muslim friends could find out he was having anything to do with the Bible. Eventually, we became very good friends and He came to Christ.
When it comes to evengelizing, Christians have a mandate to do it. But sometimes their approach can be a little heavy handed. It is eternity that's on the line in the minds of the Christian, and they don't want anyone to miss out, so think of it in terms of that, please. Christians are sharing the message in Love- even if it's a pushy, beligerent, nasty, desperate, offensive, in-your-face, brutal kind of Love! LOL! I equate it to this- If I see someone standing on the corner and there's a car or bus coming at them, I am going to tell them. Whether or not they chose to listen to me is entirely up to them. But at least I have told them. It depends on the situation as to how I tell them, though. But one way or another, It will be because I love them.
