Dear *name here*:
In a recent review of your Sprint PCS Account, it was noted that your account shows an unusually large amount of data usage with your sprint pcs phone. Data use of this magnitude is typically the result of using the phone as a modem, which is not permitted by the rules relating to our Unlimited PCS Vison service plans. Our Sprint PCS service plans guide and Sprint PCS terms and conditions provide:
Sprint PCS vision. "...Sprint PCS Vision packs are...(b) not available with connection cards, aircards, or any other devices used in connection with a computer or PDA - Including phones, smartphones, or other devices used with connection kit or similar phone-to-computer/PDA accessories. Sprint PCS Vision packs are also not available with Bluetooth vision capable sprint PCS phones used as a modem in connection with other devices. Sprint reserves rge right to deny or to terminate service without notice for any misuse..."
Failure to comply with this request may result in subsequent action that may include cancellation of the unlimited sprint PCS Vision option and/or termination of your sprint PCS account and all PCS-related services. We apologize for any confusion.
Thank you,
Sprint

Yes, sprint does monitor their network usage...just a note for anyone who uses their cell as a modem
Their logs consist of:
When you connect
How long youre connected for
how many Bytes were sent and recieved
They refused to comment on whether they log where the data was being sent.
