Not that I was a particularly good one, but I was a QB throughout elementary and high school.......beyond overall strength and fitness, I would recommend working on the following...
- grip strength
- forearms
- abs
- flexibility
Some throwing drills to work on your mechanics....
- Facing your target....both feet planted with the shoulders....no stepping allowed.....isolates torso and arm (10-15 yds away)
- Facing your target....on one knee.....isolates torso and arm (10-15 yds away)
- Facing your target....both feet planted with the shoulders....step forward......focus on follow-through (10-15 yds away)
