If that was true, I would admonish you to say that the majority of
voters are in the middle. And remember that a minority of Americans vote.
Nader is running, because if there is only two parties, you are have limited choice, and a lot of his efforts (like Dean's) bring new voters into the election.
If you are voting for someone, because you want them to win, that debases the whole voting system. It would be like instead of voting
for someone, you are voting
against someone.
