If someone in America wants to be a poet, they have every right to do that. But under the Darwinism of capitalism, if they are not profitable in there poetry, they deserve to starve.

Wrong, if he wants to be a poet he has to be a GOOD one, which is the Darwinism of capitalism. For capitalism you have to do or create something others want. If your poetry sucks you will starve until you either get good or find something you're better suited to.
Quote:
In capitalism there realy isn't freedom in what you want to do with your life, because it really comes down to profit: can you afford to do what you love?

Correct, you can do whatever you can afford or what others will pay you to do. But there IS a choice. In socialism if you get told you're a janitor thats it... no choice period. In capitalism if you are uneducated and get a janitorial job you have the CHOICE of busting your ass, getting educated, and getting a higher staning... OR you can choose to stay where you are. Saying capitalism doesnt grant you freedom is just a blatent lie.
