Taking a year off
Since ratbastid just lost his job this week, taking a year off is probably not going to happen in the near future. But I'd love to be able to do this - travel, stay with relatives, do absolutely nothing.
Assuming we can rent out our house furnished so the mortgage and utilities are taken care of, what kind of planning do we need to do now to make this happen in, say, 3 years? What kind of issues do we need to take into account in renting out our house?
