just bought the DVD of Battle Royale.
i loved this film in the cinemas. and was absolutely shocked to see it sitting there on the local dvd shop's back shelf.
absolutely love the way this film is structured. with the countdown of surviving students... and the roll call as they die. great.
being a huge BEAT Takeshi fan, its great to see him as his usual calm and intense presence.
wonder how long i'll have to wait to see the sequal.
