Yet another monitor thread...
Hi all, I'm in the position to buy a new monitor and I figure I'll let my good trusted friends here at TFP give it a go. Here are the conditions:
It HAS to be a flat panel monitor.
It HAS to be 17" or up.
I would prefer spending less than $700.
I would also prefer DVI input.
I'm a gamer, so I would like a decent game monitor (<20ms refresh, right?)
If at all possible, I would like component or composite inputs so I can play console games on it if the TV is being used, but that's not necessary at all, mearly a plus.
Here is a pretty good candidate and it looks like it's PACKED with features, but I've never heard of it, and Newegg only has the picture of it in the box. What gives with that?
Anyway, I would love to hear some recommendations from you guys (but, please no "Get a CRT" comments, I already have one...that's why I want an LCD).
