Fruit aren't big on protein. Peanuts, which raenna talks about, aren't fruit and aren't even nuts: they're a legume, or bean. However, there is protein in them, and in other nuts (like cashews, which aren't exactly nuts either, but lets not go there).
If you're not worried about carbs, here's a meat-free eat-at-the-office lunch that has a _lot_ of protein.
1. Take some cooked brown rice and put it in a large microwaveable lunch container; your choice how much.
2. Get some frozen veggies out of the freezer and mix them into the rice, still frozen.
3. Throw some diced tofu into the bowl on top of everything -- a lot.
4. Seal the bowl and take it to work. Take a sack of unsalted cashews with you. Don't bother to refrigerate, the frozen veggies will keep it cold for hours.
5. Put the bowl in the microwave and nuke it. Might take 4 or 5 minutes.
6. Take it out, throw a _generous_ heap of cashews on top.
7. Eat with soy sauce, plum sauce, or both.
May not be the low-carb meal 'o your dreams, but you _will_ get a whole protein between the tofu, rice, and cashews, and a lot of it. Tastes good too, especially with plum sauce. This was my noon at-work meal for a couple of years.
