Prince, regarding image placeholders, try the following. If it doesn't work, then change it back since I'm not POSITIVE that this is what the setting is for
Can't hurt to try though....
1) in the location bar, type
about:config
2) find
browser.display.show_image_placeholders
3) right click and select
modify
4) type in
false and then hit enter
5) restart Firefox (probably unnecessary but just in case)
6) check if it works and report back
