I first got into Paintball about 20 years ago. I don't even think it had the name yet. It was called Adventure game or Splatball or something. I played in the foothills southwest of Denver with and against Denver cops and Airforce guys from Colorado Springs. Now that was fun.

The only guns available were 8-shot marking pistols and 6-shot revolvers that used the little CO2 cartridges.
I graduated college, moved away, and it wasn't until about five years ago that I got into it again. I bought a Spyder and, other than a longer vented barrel, pretty much played with it stock. Most of my modding went into my mask. Camouflage, battery powered pc fan to keep the inside fog free, and a built-in walkie-talkie.
Since moving yet again about 3 years ago, I've been away from the game. Still have the Spyder, but it sits alone, nestled in its case...waiting...
I miss it, but I agree with G5_Todd. Unless you've got a Revolution-fed Angel or some such Wagner paint sprayer, you're toast. Every time. No shooting skill needed anymore. Just point and spray.
