If you do get ECC RAM, be certain that the mobo doesn't just "support" ECC. Otherwise, it's useless to get ECC. Most mobos that can actually "utilize" ECC are more expensive than average. True ECC mobos are usually for servers. Personally, I'd recommend some Crucial or Mushkin DDR non-ECC ram. Have fun.
