I think the thermocouples with an op amp or mabe even a op amp driving a variable voltage regulator, or just building a small transistered amplifier would do it... There are several ways to go about it...
I have never messed with thermocouples but it is possible, i would think it might be easier to just use a thermister, since thats how most of them are made, and most companies try to go the cheap route...
