My advice would be a 1993-1997 Toyota Land Cruiser. Straight six motor, All wheel drive, good brakes, roomy with an option for third row seating. I am looking for one of these currently so I feel good about recomending them to thers. Also my Dad has a 1994 4-Runner solid as well, just not as big.
