Since she's buying used, I assume that she's not looking to spend a lot. Since she's keeping it for 7 to 10 years, I'm guessing that reliability would be important. Since she's using it for business travel, comfort and good millage would help. Tough to get all this in a SUV. The only think that comes to mind would be a Subaru Forester. It's not exactly the most "Trucky" looking SUV, but it will meet all those requirements. Another good choice would be a Nissan Pathfinder or Toyota 4-Runner, but both will be more expensive than a Forester.
