Hrmmm.. my beta testing experience states otherwise. Yes there seems to be a large amount, but of course.. the ones actually doing the testing aren't heard from, as they're too busy testing than complaining. Also some people dont' state the bugs they've found because they read up and notice that its already been stated.. thus they look like they aren't testing, even though they are. Some further, still test, except they merely tell the guy who does the most, as his tend to get read more often. So really, I think 95% is wrong. A 'most' blanket statement, I might be willing to accept.. maybe 60% I would think about.. but 95% is most definately not in the cases I have seen.
