My girlfriend also suffers from nasty migraines. The last few months she has been taking B-2 vitamin supplements and it seem to really be helping. The headaches have gone from daily to maybe once a week (usually less).
Most of the stuff we've read recommends really loading up on the B-2 (aka Riboflavin I think). I think she takes a 100 mg supplement 3 or 4 times a day. It's way more than the RDA, but the body can only absorb so much at a time orally, so I don't think you can really "overdose".
