There are many different kinds of hydro setups. Single unit 'bubblers' to ebb and flow tray units to constant drip rockwool irrigation.
Each different technique can be run at almost any scale, depening or many different variables.
For 'at home' use, I would suggest a 5-gallon bubbler bucket. Equipment is cheap, and results are wonderful!
