Yeah...pretty much. If I didn't want to own it in the first place, I wouldn't buy it, right? 
There are a few movies, though, that as soon as I see them in the theatre, I think "must have this DVD!" Chicago, Bridget Jones, and Lord of the Rings all fit into that category.
