Dark and down....
I wrote this quite a while ago about a girl that I was totally into, but she kinda was/kinda wasn't into me... so I'd finally had enough, for the 100th time... and this is what came about...
If I could say just one thing to you
before I left this mortal place
It would be "I loved You"
I cannot love you now
because my time is near
all I can do is look back
in regret and despair
at all the things I never said'
like "good morning", "good night"
I never got to hold you when you had a
Nighmare
I never got to see your skin
I never got to taste your heaven
I'll never get there
for where i'm going
is a dark place
with images of the love I missed
to forever keep me cold
So when you think of me
please try to understand
that I died alone
and somewhere, sometime
I will pass you in death
and never say "Hello"
Kinda grim huh? I'm glad I'm past that part of my life.
