No, a Hail Mary will only get you maybe 60 yards. You have to get the pass into the end zone for that to work; otherwise, the defence will be there to tackle you if you catch it. Rod Smart is supposed to be a hotshot kickoff returner, that truly was their best option. Too bad Smart couldn't put anything together all night.
