I think this report amply demonstrates that there are no simple easy solutions. Even the smaller government plan that reduces goverment domestic spending to (in my mind) ridiculously low standards demands an *increase* in taxes. Reducing everyone's baseline to 7% (or some other arbitrary number) does nothing for solving the upcoming debt crisis.
