Robert Kiyosaki is a pretty well-known author and major advocate of entrepreneurship, and having read one of his books, Rich Dad, Poor Dad his advice is decent for those that aren't classically (ie, through schooled) trained in business and the actual cash behind accounting and finance. However, alot of the story he tells in the book, has been proven through independent research to be false--addtionally, it's been impossible for anyone that I've seen to succesfully locate any of the property or transactions that he's owned/completed.

I don't. It's their living, write books sell books, merchandising etc.
But what's important is that MOST of us out in the world aren't classically trained on how to manage cash flow. Our parents don't talk much about sex let alone how to deal with money, which is truly the point of why I find this trend interesting.
