Seriously? I haven't found another person that even *knows* what that game is, much less is a regular player. My friends tend to enjoy the varient, Seafarers, which brings me to the real point of this post.
Having just graduated college, I'm in a bit of a transitional period myself. For the past 4.5-years, it has been a head-long dash from Sunday to Thursday every week. There was seldom a lonely Friday or Saturday during college. I, honestly, miss the social aspects of college the most -- particularly the Friday and Saturday nights. Right now, its 12:34am Sunday morning and I *know* that my friends in Macon, GA are knockin 'em back and having fun being wtih one another. I'm in my bed, getting ready to sleep, some 700miles away. So, I can relate with your boring Friday night and missing the companionship. I know *exactly* what you mean. Its not the physical contact (in my case, absolutely not) that matters, but the fact that someone is there, be it friend or friends.
I can't mentally count the number of weekend nights a group of my friends and I would stay up extremely late playing Settlers, Seafarers, Munchkin, Guillotine or MtG.... I miss having folks around all the time.
