Haven't had door to door ones for awhile....
When I was pretty young (about 10)I answered the door and the lady showed me a paper about her religion..she was speaking in a seductive tone saying things like "wouldn't you like to be that little girl?" "you could be you know" "Doesn't she look happy" "your not that happy are you?" "do you wanna be?" ...the lady scared the crap outa me...I ran and got my dad...He didn't know what was going on cuz I was so upset and he of course switched to *protect my little girl mode*
he yelled at the lady for not asking for him in the first place and told her never to come back.
I have my beliefs but that doesn't mean I have to adhere myself to a religion...I can be just as spiritual without going to church. Some of the bible I believe but other parts of it are hooey to me....I have my reasons based on knoweledge I gained from school, who rewrote the bible and what their motivations were.
