I could have sworn your cam's been up for at least a day or two now.
I used Conquercam a couple of years ago, it was the best at the time, while the picture quality sucked a bit and the thing crashed now and then, but for the most part it was awesome. Wonder how it is doing nowadays...

I'm not sure, haven't kept up with the market in a coupla years, but I would say a decent web cam is between 15 and 40 bucks, depending on the deal you get. You can spend more of course, but in my experience having a web cam is rarely something that turns into a hobby you want to pour money into. Go with a cheap one and if you still wanna "cam" in 2005, think about upgrading.
