It's interesting to see the poll results played out in this thread:
The majority of citizens don't want Bush re-elected, but they believe he will be.
I don't know what this means in terms of votes but, just like savvy political junkies predicted, once Bush was matched against a named opponent instead of a generic Democrat candidate, he consistently loses.
Now there even seems to be talk of cutting Cheney loose.
