I dropped 50 bones on it, and I'm glad I did. The lady that did it for me was soo nice, and made me feel totally comfortable. It was nothing like a pap smear because the room was cozy, there was a comfortable bed to lay on, and she had music playing. I was fairly shaggy (no sex and having just gotten off of a 2 week long freakish period to blame
) so the length was not a problem. I won't lie though, it did hurt. More than any of my piercings, because after one strip was ripped off, you had many more to look forward to. But it wasn't unbearable. 20 minutes of pain is worth a month or more of not having to shave every few days. The most sensitive area, I found, was the area between the thigh and the hoo-hah
, right where they meet. She rubbed lotion on the whole area directly afterwards, which helped sooth it immensely. My main mistake was going out that day sans underwear. If you're gonna do it WEAR COMFORTABLE COTTON PANTIES! I cannot stress this enough. StormBerlin will attest to that... I was walking funny for the rest of the night, thanks to the chafing. Hehe.
The day after there was a little splotchy discoloration, and it was still a little painful. Now that it's been a few days, it looks great and it isn't overly sensitive.
And there's also the reward of my boyfriend not being able to keep his hands off of it when I'm naked.
