There is no way to make money off of it, trust me!
Some are more noticable than others, but yeah... I can consistently tell. Funny though, the respond to "I'm on my period" with "I know" doesn't go over well!

I started realizing this after reading
Roots of all things. In it, Kunta (I think) noticed that it was that time of the month for someone from the smells. And I got to thinking about it, and then I just started paying attention to learning as much as I could with my nose. It took a little practice with paying attention, but now I don't even have to try. Sometimes I wonder if it really is a curse.
As for picking out certain people by their smells, I can also do that. Men and women alike that I know fairly well. I remember asking someone if my friend had just been at his house who doesn't normally visit, and he asked how I knew... I could smell his presence. It wasn't strong, but it was distinct.
