I am in a steady- monogamous relationship of over an year, we used both condoms and the pill. I really believe you can't be too careful, and children are really not an option at the moment.
The only side effects I have ever experienced is I am a bit more emotional as my period starts, but since cramps are now non existant and my period really only lasts for about 3-4 days I have no complaints.
I set my watch alarm to go off when I need to take it and I think I have only missed one by about 2 hours (forgot to take my purse, pure stupidity on my part).
As far as I'm concerned, I never want to go off them.
