Ok, so you say what is the point of this topic? Just seems to me that everyone on this board listens to the same 10 bands. Is this really true, or do people just mention these bands to fit in here? Personally, I own albums by only 2 of the above artists, and I don't know anyone who listens to Glassjaw, Opeth or Dream Theater outside of this board.
Any others we need to add to the list?

I am a huge Glassjaw(mercury was right about me
), Godspeed, Apex Theory, Darkness, Opeth, Radiohead, and tool fan and i shamelessly pimp the first two quite a bit... i own all albums by the first 5 on that list, all radiohead except hail to the theif and Lateralus and Aenima by Tool.
I must say that i know a lot of people who like all of those bands outside the board... except Apex Theory, that's sort of a me thing...
