If you made an exact backup, then it probably won't let you in because it thinks you are a unknown user. This question was in a recent Maximum PC, and they just said you were pretty much screwed because the data is locked. Because of the reinstall, it screws it up even if you duplicate your previous settings(password, username, etc.). I hope they are wrong, but it doesn't look good for you. Sorry I couldn't help.
