English is quite possibly the youngest of all languages (aside from
Klingon or
Esporanto) so it doesn't mean much to me if the word
marriage hasn't changed in it's history.
Besides, words are hijacked all the time. What's the worry? I bet the definition of the word
vertigo will soon be changed to mean
the fear of heights...
